StopWash, SA’s largest car wash business, has been one of our biggest and most valuable clients since Jan 2013. We have executed a full spectrum of design and marketing services for SW, from car wash menus, to posters, to social media, apps, website and print campaigns. The more viby the design work, the happier they are.

Marco Venchenzo is their division that manufactures all their special chemicals for car, home and domestic use, for which we have designed logos, labels and corporate identity.

Below are 2 Facebook ads from a series of about 120 that we did for Stopwash over 1.5 years, in promoting their brand awareness and benefits of having your car washed by their "Valet Technicians".

Below is our clients AKS and LAKS have now rebranded as GKS - Gourmet Kosher Safaris and now operate in Australia, India and Croatia, as well as Africa and South America. They have been good and loyal clients for over 10 years. Their demands are high and we give them all we got for their Ads, Banners, leaflets, Posters and numerous tour items – not to mention new logos now and again.

Yingwe Africa, directed by game ranger, Laurie K, is another kosher safaris business that operates in South Africa and also manufactures and resells game hide items such as bags and pouches – with a “kosher” license of course. They have been great and creative clients for over 8 years. We design many logos, ads, banners, leaflets, posters, tour items and itineraries for them.

The design of posters and leaflets (some call flyers or pamphlets) is primarily to advertise an special event in a particular locale, or promote a new product or service, or a special deal relevant to people in a certain sector, or location.

Posters and flyers can also be easily adapted to adverts for a publication or digital platform, email campaign, or placed onto a website to appeal to a broader sector and client base. Posters and flyer design need to be visually impactful, true to the brand they’re promoting and should have copy that is professionally written, captivating, precise and informative. 

The Copy typically involves a major headline that draws in the viewer, a sub header that gives more of a description, and body copy relaying the details as to date, time, venue, contact numbers and website details.

When it comes to the crunch of designing a company or organisation's brochure or a product catalogue, the client usually expects their design agency or designer to be conceptual, innovative, and of course, creative in their execution of the artwork.

If a brochure does not grab and hold the attention of the viewer, as well as communicate the relevant information as powerfully and clearly as possible, what use is the piece of paper on which it has been printed? We also convert to digital brochures for emailing and websites.

TMD regards it as our sacred duty to design these graphic information media in such a manner that it will not only be a powerful eye popper, but that the information conveyed on it will be relevant and as legible as possible to the viewer. After all, the brochure acts as the interface between the potential customer and the client’s product or service, so it has to be the best ambassador that it can be.

Over the years we've been privy to design some wonderful and exciting packaging and labels for many varied clients.  Some of the categories we've worked in are stationery design, such as for AOS brands, Bad Boy, Bad Girl, Lost, Biotribe, Hot buttered and others; Educational games packaging and game cards for kids; Food packaging for Southern Trading Spices, Country Chicken, Fish tins an others; A huge variety of School bag designs for Goldenmarc; Electronic devices packaging and our a few household detergent clients such FabCab and Lippies Household detergents.

We work closely with the packaging companies who are producing the packaging, to make sure all the dyelines, boxes or label dimensions are 100% correct and accurate. Most times we produce mockups of the designs and also get the packaging companies to produce samples for client approval and sign off. This is where perfectionism pays off!

Good designers, besides being spaced out most of the time, are in essence space technicians. Design means making a plan to fit almost anything anywhere. But its not a matter of shoving anything anywhere, we are disciplined not only in re-organising the space within the “canvass,” but we go about systematically deciding and implementing which elements to emphasize within the composition. 

We search for and play around with fonts, images, contrasts, colours, balance, form, rhythm and atmospherics in transforming the visual aesthetics of the page, to present you and your customer's with masterpieces of visual communication.
