Facebook Business is one the world’s best targeting platforms. It allows intricate targeting of audiences in terms of gender, age, demographics, location and psychographics, such as interests, hobbies publications that people read or subscribe to, income and buying behaviours more than any other social media platform, and for a much more competitive price than Google and LinkedIn.


One can select whatever type of campaign is most suited to the advertisers needs, such as brand awareness, leads and conversions.


Facebook takes a bout 2 weeks to maximise the conversion strategy in order to find your ideal leads.


On Facebook, one can create single image ads, carousel ads as well as video ads, allowing the advertiser to use the medium best suited to their product or service.


FB allows one to like the page, make reviews and send the advertiser comments and messages.

Sweetalk Facebook Page

Above is a Facebook page for one of our clients, Sweetalk, a personalised chocolate wrapper company. We managed to get them over 2500 likes on their Facebook page in just over a month. Facebook likes in and of themselves do not = sales, but they sure help when building audiences to market to, which is what we did in promoting their special Valentines day deal this year which brought them a significant amount of leads.

We built some really good campaigns for Sweetalk this year, including warming content in order to build up their retargeting audiences, as they felt that not too many people knew what they offered and of what benefit it would be to them. This year were going to focus in on more specialised customer audiences for them.

Google Ad Campaign for Sweetalk


Above is several Keyword Ad campaigns that we ran on Google for Sweetalk using keywords around party ideas and personalised chocolates for functions. It was starting to do pretty well before Covid-19 Struck and they asked us to turn it off due to their chocolate factory having to shut down. We hope to get them good results and low bid costs when they reopen.

SO WHAT'S IN A GOOGLE AD 

  • Google Ads are the fastest campaigns to set up and should be the first, but in the case of an unknown product, the audience is not likely to search for it until brand awareness has been established, at least to some extent.
  • We are well trained on how to do keyword research, eliminate negative keywords and how to set up and monitor Google Ad campaigns.
  • We also know how to optimise and AB test ads so that the cost per search can be optimised and leads procured at minimal cost over a period of time.
  • If budget allows, we can also set up GDN (Google Display Network) ads that will target and retarget audiences that showed any interest in the product by following them around the internet, or targeting customers on certain key websites they visit, that are related to your product.
  • Like Facebook, Google ads allows for very precise targeting criteria and therefore optimises the ad spend on all the right audience.
  • The quality of leads is usually very high with Google ads due to the fact that people are searching for your product or similar themselves – called in bound marketing.
